Defining your style gives you a new way to begin a new level. It’s a way to uncover and come to grips with who you are, to determine what suits you. Most times you need to know who you are, know your likes and dislike, and discover a lot of other prime factors that you consider unimportant for concluding your own style. We all have a regular dressing sense and that comes naturally from who we are. And we like to wear what’s trending. Most of us feel uncomfortable thinking about what we wear don’t look great on us. Others fine is hard when purchasing now cloths or changing their wardrobe. But finding your personal style can help you with the right choice and right purchase. As a fashion content writer, I have done this and I’m so glad I did and want to share with you. I have come up with five tips to help you find your personal style.
Your body type.
Most will ask why? Knowing your body type is probably a good start to know your personal style. Body type will let you know what clothes will look naturally good on you. Before you can build a strong house, you need to build a strong foundation. So it’s more like discovering your strengths and building on them. I use to have those thoughts you have right now about your body type and it’s fine. I could discover my style when I found these tips. So no matter your body type, you will discover your personal style after this blog.
Knowing the colors, you love and combination
I don’t think you would love to combine a deep-yellow shirt on sea blue denim, but I will. That is the colors and combination I want to wear out on a normal shinny day. Do you love to put white on white? Or are you about prints colors, and everything vibrant? Just take your time and think about colors and combinations, because if you want to discover your personal style colors play a huge role.
The style icon that inspires you
No doubt about that, I dress like my style Icon. Who is that one celebrity or not and that one person alive or dead, that you look up to as your personal style icon? That tells a lot about who you are, what you like, and who you want to look like. Instagram is another channel I obtain my fashion knowledge from, and I follow many personal fashion bloggers there. But there is this one popular blogger who inspire me and who I wanted to look like. Whoever it is you might like, your style icon can help you find your personal style.
What inspires you.
Like putting round neck on denim with a converse shoe and look all casual, that is what defines me. What defines you? This is the easiest way to discover your personal style. We all have this particular style that fits us and we sometimes know and we sometimes need to hear from friends or someone. Knowing this will help you with future purchases.
Your personality.
As a freelance writer, I put on my casual wear and visit any place (mall or the bar) that will be relaxing for my writing. I don’t know about you. Your personal style is a reflection of who you are. Some of us have a specific type whiles some of us are flexible. Maybe your work or business don’t allow you to go casual, but classy and feminine. You can get all those steps done and leave who you are or what you do, Your personality plays a big role.
