The Mount Horeb Victorious Church, founded and led by Rev. Paul Okai, developed the Mount Horeb prayer camp. Mount Horeb is a unique prayer camp in that it is known for receiving and curing those with mental illnesses, as opposed to regular people visiting the camp for prayers, which is also done. The name of the Lord and His son Jesus Christ, according to the camp’s leadership (led by Rev. Okai), can overcome any challenge that man faces, including mental difficulties. Hebron Prayer Camp is without a doubt the most popular prayer venue in the Eastern and Greater Accra areas. The camp is at Nsawam, which puts it in the middle of both regions and makes it accessible to people from both sides. It was once known as one of the primary prayer camps of the Pentecost Church of Ghana, but the church later disassociated itself from the camp due to an apparent misunderstanding between the church and Elder Donor, a church member who is credited with founding the camp. 4.Abasua Prayer Camp

The Abasua Prayer Camp is located on the Atwea Mountain in the Ashanti region’s Sekyere Central District, and is thought to be the first Christian body to create a prayer camp on the mountain before other Christian bodies did. Atwea Peak was once just another ordinary Ghanaian mountain with no religious significance until a Methodist pastor named Abraham Osei-Assibey ascended the mountain to pray, claiming to have been guided by the Lord.
After spending a few days on the mountain praying to the Lord, he returned to town and began taking his congregation to the top of the mountain to pray with him, establishing the now-famous Abasua Prayer camp in the process. Since then, various Christian organisations have erected prayer camps on the mountain and come there on a regular basis to organise prayer sessions, which usually include fasting.
5.Bethel Prayer Camp

Another prominent prayer camp is Bethel Prayer Camp, which is located in Kumasi, Ghana’s garden city.
