1.The Manhyia Palace Museum
Kumasi is a land of history and host the biggest kingdom in Ghana. The Manhyia Palace Museum is a historical museum in the Ashanti kingdom. The museum exhibits so many historical items such as royal regalia, photographs, medals, furniture, drums, and palanquins which are over two hundred years. A battle dress that dates back to 1900 and many objects of historical significance. It is another place you can learn more about Ghana’s slavery history.
2.Okomfo Anokye Sword Museum
Okomfo Anokye is the best fetish priest since history, with 333 years old sword wedged in the rockface. The sword museum is one of the center artifacts and legends of the rich history of the Asante nation. Since that no one has ever been able to remove it. Situated on the grounds of the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital. A tour to the sword site gives one great insight into the beginning of the Ashanti Kingdom. Situated in the Ashanti region of Ghana, Lake Bosomtwe is one of six meteoritic lakes in the world. The southernmost section of the site overlaps the northern section of the Bosomtwe Range Forest Reserve. Creating a combination of forest, wetland, and mountain ecosystems. 7.Kumasi Rattray Park
The Rattray part is the largest and ultra-modern amusement park that Ghana can talk of. 10.Kwame Nkrumah University.
This is the largest university in the Ashanti Region and also the second popular university in Ghana. The main university campus, which is about seven square miles in area, is about eight miles (13 km) to the east of Kumasi. Its is a big institution you must visit.
