Today’s modern world is full of several beautiful cities that are well known for diverse reasons. Some of the most popular ones are acknowledged for their tourist attractions, others for their commerce, peace, and their culture.

The top cities in the world are ranked on several bases including, wealth, tourist attractions, culture, beauty, economy, and education. Some of the biggest cities in the world have several of these and more. These cities are also home to diverse groups of people from different cultures making them global cities. A perfect example is the city of London which is very diverse. Migrants, people of color and British people have made the city their home. It is a large hub for education, art, and technology.

In this article, Mrpocu.xyz will be writing on some top cities in the world and the reason they are popular.

It has several famous places like Times Square, Grand Central Station, and the Empire state building. It is well known for its many skyscrapers. It is considered one of the biggest cities with financial and cultural importance in the United States of America. One of the famous landmarks in the city is the Statue of Liberty which was a gift from France to the city.

It is also famous for having the largest archaeological site of aboriginal people who are the indigenous people of Australia. These people have lived in Australia for over 30,000 years.

It has several hotspots like the Notre Dame cathedral which has been closed down for renovations after the fire in April 2019, the designer boutiques and cafés that line up the Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, the Louvre which has several famous artworks, and the l’Arc de Triomphe.

These characteristics are arguably responsible for attracting millions of Amsterdam’s visitors annually. In Amsterdam, there are bike paths that are used in cycling. Cycling is a big deal in Amsterdam and it is a sport that is practiced by several people.

It is well known for its huge oil deposits which brought the people wealth after the decline of pearl diving. The wealth from the oil made Abu Dhabi what it is today now with over two-thirds of 400 billion dollars being generated in the city alone. The city is also famous for its elegant skyline, with several high-rise buildings and skyscrapers. Other beautiful buildings include the Emirates Palace, the World Trade Centre Abu Dhabi, and the Etihad Towers. It is also a multicultural hub and is home to diverse groups of people. They have one of the latest mosques, the Grand Mosque which can contain approximately 41,000 people, it is one of the most visited sites in the country.

It is also known for its cool summers, steep rolling hills, cable cars and it’s Chinatown district.  The city is the 16th most populous city in the USA. It  is also an international centre for science and art with several prominent universities in the city. Some of which include the University of California and the San Francisco University.
