About Rattray Park, Kumasi – Amusement Park

In Ghana’s Ashanti Region capital Kumasi, Rattray Park is a recreational and contemporary amusement park.

History Of Rattray Park

The Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly built the park in an effort to reestablish Kumasi as the Garden City of West Africa. On June 20, 2015, it was opened by Ghana’s President John Dramani Mahama, Asantehene Otumfuo Nana Osei Tutu II, and Kumasi Mayor Kojo Bonsu.

When To Visit

One can visit Rattray Park all year round. There is no such thing as the best time to visit the park. But if you are looking to meet new people and socialize, then weekends is the best time to visit.
