About Roman Ridge, Accra – Ghana

Roman Ridge is a suburb in Ghana. Roman Ridge is situated nearby to National theatre and northeast of Kotobabi. Roman Ridge is known as Ghana’s ”fairyland”  its streets are awash in bold colours, fresh air and good inner roads, and it is a place everyone would love to stay. Today Ridge has a pulse of its own. Top restaurants in the area, MTN head Office (top leading network communication company in Ghana), Stanbic bank head office and other major brands have their head offices located in the district.

The area lies close to other precincts in the inner city that have undergone a recent fashionable revival (independence Square, foreign embassies, Osu, and Accra precincts in particular)

Roman Ridge, however, continues to flirt with inner-city decay, a far cry from 37, but nonetheless influenced by and frequented by those who want to reclaim the city’s inner city from the decline into which it slumped. The Area is one of the most luxurious areas of Accra. It has been around since, one of the earliest areas laid out by private developers.

This area of the city was designated a ‘native and foreign location’ and meant for companies or brands. Arguably the district has to all. From luxurious hotels, luxury apartments, and notable foreign and local companies and host the biggest and ultra-modern hospital in Ghana ( Right Hospital).

Roman Ridge has been transformed into a safe and attractive place to work, live and visit. If you are in Ghana or now travelling to Ghana, add the area to your bucket list.
