OAS scholarship Program 2022 -2023

Since its inception in 1958, the OAS Academic Scholarship Program (Regular Program) has awarded scholarships for graduate study leading to master’s, doctoral, and professional degrees. Established in 1983, the OAS Special Caribbean Scholarships Program (SPECAF) provides financial aid to citizens and residents of the English-speaking OAS Member States of the Caribbean and Suriname for the final two years of their undergraduate degrees. The OAS Manual of Procedures for the Scholarship and Training Program is followed by both programs.

With the assistance of its partner schools in the Americas and around the world, the OAS offers further alluring funding options for academic study through its Partnerships Program for Education and Training (PAEC). The OAS Manual of Procedures for the Scholarship and Training Program’s guiding principles are followed in administering PAEC, as well as the provisions of each company agreement.

With the exception of the applicant’s country of citizenship or permanent residence, the Professional Development Scholarships Program (PDSP) provides scholarship possibilities for short-term training courses in any of the OAS member states and OAS Permanent Observers (sponsoring country).
