Vistara confirms Hong Kong route

Beginning on October 29, daily nonstop service between Delhi and Hong Kong will be offered by Vistara, an Indian full-service airline that is a joint venture between Singapore Airlines (SIA) and the Tata Group.

On the Delhi-Hong Kong route, the airline will fly its three-class Airbus A321 Neo aircraft.

The aircraft will leave Delhi at 2105 and land in Hong Kong at 0555 the following day. Return planes from Hong Kong arrive in Delhi around 1310 after departing at 0855.

The Vistara A321 neos has 152 normal economy seats, 24 premium economy seats, and 12 lie-flat business class seats arranged in a 2-2 configuration.

There are ten of these aircraft in the airline’s fleet at the moment, and more are on order.

In addition, Vistara runs five Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners and 46 A320 Neo aircraft.

“We are excited to expand our rapidly expanding worldwide network to include Hong Kong. One of the most important financial and commercial centers in the world, Hong Kong continues to get a sizable amount of business travelers from India. Indian tourists have found it to be a very popular resort as well.

We can now provide our customers with direct access to and from three of the biggest financial centers in the world—the others being London and Singapore—thanks to the inclusion of Hong Kong, said Vistara Chief Executive Vinod Kannan.
