Bedouin Pool Lounge
The scene is the Marcel Desailly-owned Lizzy Sports Complex in East Legon (see p. 75). The poolside bar, which comes alive on weekend evenings when there are DJs, is this location’s greatest asset. Lovely covered space and an indoor bar are also available. Pizzas, burgers, ribs, and sandwiches are among the meals prepared in the outdoor oven.
The music is amazing, and if you’re with friends, it’s a wonderful spot to just chill and see other guys getting hustled for free cocktails.
Chez Afrique
This well-known restaurant frequently hosts live performances by highlife musicians. The music is superior to the cuisine, which is fine. Before returning with a highlife set that gets everyone up and dancing, many sets begin with a blend of reggae and other (random) tunes. Usually, the musicianship is top-notch.
Potbelly Shack (East Legon)
The PotBelly Shack East Legon location is one of the chain’s little smaller eateries, but it still provides a wonderful dining experience. There is a beetle bar outside and inside the dining areas. Every so often, the Beetle bar, which has a half-VW Beetle car, is decorated to match the most recent theme.
This restaurant will leave you stuffed, as the name would imply. However, this chain of eateries is renowned for their “Mad Dogs” in addition to their outstanding grilled and BBQ treats.
There are 12 Mad Dogs available at Pot Belly Shack, which are combinations of hotdogs with different toppings. From the Coney Island, which has cheese, minced meat, and chilli, to the Chicago Mild or Spice, which comes with relish, tomatoes, and lettuce.

The weekend is Jamming at The Lab Bar and Grill East Legon. Excellent place to relax and enjoy some good music, food and drinks with friends. A beautiful place … the live band won’t even make you leave.. the staff are so welcoming and very friendly.
KikiBees
A family-run restaurant and lounge bar, KikiBees is delighted to be known for serving a variety of cuisines with a focus on serving traditional Ghanaian food in a hip environment. When there is live music, the restaurant and lounge bar provides a wonderful and cosy setting for getting together with friends.
The hut-style booth chilling spaces at KikiBees are what make the restaurant unique. They can look a little detached from the main action. But do offer a great area where friends can hang out in groups. Also, do not be deceived by KikiBees’ façade, which has a hut-style facade; all the action takes place inside, towards the back.

It resembles the Bloom Bar, where you can stand upstairs and observe people on the dance floor, thanks to its piazza design and square layout. It is another popular Nightclub in East Legon and is located on Boundary Road.
Exhale Lounge
Exhale Lounge is one of those places you hear about but hardly ever visit. It is essentially a sophisticated lounge bar that appears to know what it is doing. A location that is open daily from 5 pm till 2 am in the centre of East Legon. The lantern tree creates a Chinese-inspired atmosphere that makes it possible to enjoy shisha with friends. Exhale is a terrific place for cocktails, and the food at the bar is also good.
Exhale takes itself in its customer service, so you won’t have to wait long for assistance, and the cocktail menu offers a wide variety of inventive drinks. The volume of the music is exactly right so that you can talk to your friends without being too overbearing.

The lounge is one of the best nightclubs in East Legon near the police station on the 10th boundary road. The place is wild during my first visit and I have been dying to visit again.
