If you’re planning to visit Akosombo this Christmas, the Aylos bay is the best fishing river in Akosombo. Aylos bay is where visitors can throw a line catch a fish. Aside from fishing at Aylos bay, you can enjoy the bay lunch at the bay. Visitors should visit the bay around the day-time before its 4 pm, as withy most tropical rivers mosquitoes will emerge after 4 pm.

If you haven’t had a chance to visit the Cape Coast Castle in your life-time, this Christmas is the right time to visit. Visit Ghana’s famous castle and learn more about our slavery history. I won’t advise you to hike to the upper falls if you are scared of height, but if you want some adventure then go for it. There is always a tour guide to help you.
