When traveling by air with an airline, most passengers will be allowed between one and two checked items in addition to carry-on items such as purses or briefcases. The allowances can vary from carrier to carrier, but most restrict passengers on domestic flights to at least 50 pounds per item (and often less). International carriers may have a limit of just 23 kilos per item. It’s always important to know or check your ticket, it may be written on it. It is best to know what to pack when traveling by air.
