The Safari Lodge

The Safari Lodge is an intimate retreat with six thatched ethnic rondavels, each uniquely decorated in an African theme. Guests can enjoy al fresco showers with a view of the bush and insect-proofed rondavels with overhead fans for comfort. The lodge features a sparkling swimming pool and an outdoor lapa overlooking a waterhole.

Evenings come alive with traditional African songs and dance, followed by romantic dinners under the stars or by a roaring log fire in the cooler months. Meals celebrate African heritage with fresh, regional ingredients. Breakfasts and lunches are served in various locations, highlighting local flavours. The Safari Lodge offers an immersive and culturally rich African experience, connecting guests with the beauty of the bush and its heritage.

Location

The Lodge is conveniently located as a central base for exploring the area. It can be easily reached, just 7km off the paved R40 road, slightly north of Hoedspruit. It is situated on the route to or from the Panorama Route and the Blyde River Canyon, via the Abel Erasmus Pass. Additionally, the Lodge is in close proximity to Kruger Park, with both Orpen and Phalaborwa Gates approximately 80km away, making it an ideal starting point for adventures in the region.
