Papaye (Osu) Fast Foods Limited was formed as a Limited Liability Company on November 20, 1990, and received its certificate to begin operations on June 17, 1991.
In 1991, Papaye had a workforce of 12, but it has since grown to 314 employees. As a result, both Ghanaians and foreigners will have job prospects.
The company holds the distinction of being Accra’s first fast food restaurant. Over the years, Papaye has stuck to a strategy of preparing fast dishes using company-designed recipes, giving its cuisine a distinctive flavor. The fact that Papaye has become a household name in Ghana demonstrates this.
It is gratifying to note that Papaye (Osu) has earned itself an enviable position in the hospitality industry by winning several awards. And the Osu Papaye branch is one of the most active and popular in the country. Even though the Spintex road branch is the older, but the Osu branch is paving it way through the fast food market each and every day.
The restaurant is mostly active with locals and international tourist looking to enjoy some delicious local and continental cuisine. Even though the restaurant has earn a higher reputation in the country but there still affordable meals for every budget.
