Three Anchor Bay Beach – Cape Town Beaches

A very small beach! Really small and largely utilized by locals who launch their motorboats and sea kayaks from the beach. From here, they kayak out to sea and all the way to Clifton. Although the Three Anchor Bay beach is primarily covered in mussel shells that the ocean has thrown up, it is nonetheless a fantastic beach for those who enjoy water sports in part due to the slipway from the parking lot. There is plenty of room to park your car and walk to the water from this tiny beach. Why not give kayaking a try along the Atlantic Coast? It’s a wonderful afternoon spent on the water with breathtaking views of Cape Town!
