Ultimate Travel Bucket List: Top 10 Most-Googled Travel Experiences

A Switzerland-based luxury travel company, Kuoni, released a list of the world’s most fascinating travel experiences, to help travelers sift through their plans in 2024.

To rank these experiences, Kuoni compiled a list of events that occur semi-annually or less and then analyzed which of these events received the most Google searches. While most of these events are located in Europe and the United States, the list also features two Asian destinations.

Here’s a list of the top ten most searched-for travel experiences.

Manhattanhenge, New York

Manhattanhenge is a rare and captivating event that takes place between May and July, when the sun’s alignment precisely defines the city’s streets, offering tourists a stunning sunset view among Manhattan’s towering skyscrapers. This phenomenon, also known as the Manhattan Solstice, is truly mesmerizing.

Venice Carnival, Italy

The Venice Carnival in Italy takes place annually, just before Lent. In 2024, the carnival will run from January 27 to February 13. It is renowned worldwide for its alluring costumes and masks and includes numerous balls, light shows, and musical performances, making it a truly enchanting experience.

Rio Carnival, Brazil
