Kotobabi is a town located in Ghana’s Greater Accra Region’s Accra Metropolitan area. It has a police station that serves Accra’s suburbs, including Accra Newtown, Roman Ridge, Pig Farm, Alajo, Maamobi, Kokomlemle, Alajo, Kpehe, and Dzorwulu. The area is one of the best and most popular places to stay in Accra.
In early 2000, the area was not a safe place due to the number of robberies that happen in the district. The resident of both Pig-Farm and Kotobabi appealed to the police administration to make the necessary steps t check and prevent the high rate of armed robberies in the area. The assemblyman at that time made it known to some news agencies in Ghana that if measures are not put in place to fight those crimes, many residents in Kotobabi and other areas would be forced to leave their homes.
Now the area is one of the safe places in Accra after the Kotobabi Police Station put measures in place to prevent all crimes. If you are planning to relocate within Accra, then this area should be one of the best options.
