Santoku Accra – Restaurant Menu, Reviews, Contact, Etc

The Santoku restaurant in Accra has built its way to the top with all the positive comments from most social media pages and positive ratings on Online Travel Agent websites.

You might be anywhere in the world when you walk into the upscale Japanese restaurant Santoku, including Dubai or New York, just name it. Despite the fiercer competition, there are now plenty of upscale restaurants in Ghana’s busy capital, which astounded everyone when it first opened in 2013. It makes sense why the establishment was named Accra’s Best Restaurant.

Santoku Accra brings cutting-edge, upscale Japanese cuisine to West Africa. The 400m2 restaurant provides exquisite Asian fusion food in a setting designed by international designers. Santoku Accra collaborated with the chefs behind Nobu in London and Dubai to develop a variety of meals, including soups, noodles, and sharing dishes like Zensai and Otsumami snacks. The steam has unquestionably perfected the recipe for a fantastic restaurant, expertly fusing top-notch and inventive cuisine, impeccable décor, and effortless service.

The term “Santoku” refers to creativity and experimentation, ideas that the chefs have investigated and that have led to a menu that combines conventional Japanese culinary practices with modern cuisine. These concepts may also be seen in the restaurant’s design, which combines elements of contemporary Western design with old Eastern philosophical inspirations. A bamboo ceiling and traditional Japanese woodwork from which Hubert du Givenchy drew its inspiration set the restaurant apart in its upscale Accra neighbourhood.

Highlights include smoked whisky-marinated beef kushiyaki with Jaku sauce and black garlic, as well as a slow-cooked beef fillet with spicy den miso and ponzu. Wow. Although it’s not cheap, the lunchtime set meals are a good option if you only want a few samples. The greatest place to drink Santoku’s “saketinis,” one of the best cocktails in town, is on their brand-new, ultra-hip terrace. A private dining area with 20 chairs is available.

First time visiting Ghana. The food here didn’t make me feel I am out of Japan, very delicious and good use of fusion combinations. salmon puff is something new and unique I tried it today, it was recommended by restaurant manager Combrad. Very humble down to earth person checks on each table to ensure quality service.

The deferential staff especially dennis, mensa, and elvis. Good kitchen team displayed on top of the mark, happy to see asian chefs taking over in making idiosyncrasy food. they have great sake and whiskey selection my favorite was Hibiki and Nigori, my friend loved laison cocktail very Japanese. concisely my friends and I had a very gratifying time at the restaurant and continued at the wabi-sabi themed terrace with homemade sorbet and matcha pannacotta.

the restaurant showcases value for money and very genuine people who live here definitely come back on my next visit.Show less
