There isn’t much difference between Takoradi and Sekondi, so I am allowed to “join” these two cities of the Western Region of Ghana but that is not why I’m here (lol). Visiting Takoradi for the first time was the best feeling I had last month. I could feel the breeze of the wonderful atmosphere mixed with some great sounds of nature. I wanted to enjoy some good music and so I decided to tune in to some of their radio stations.
The media sector in Sekondi – Takoradi Metropolis has been increasing for some time now. The increasing number of radio stations in the Metropolis alone makes access to information easier, facilitates businesses, reduces unemployment, and equally allows us practice democracy-airing our views.
