The menu is broad and offers a wide range of flavours, including traditional options like buffalo and BBQ as well as more contemporary options like Thai curry and honey and mustard. Additionally, a variety of beers, drinks, and wines are available.

I had a hard time getting used to the flavour and texture because it was so unfamiliar to my palate. I did, however, appreciate their beverages and taco crust.

Starbites is among Accra’s top patio cafes. You will fall in love with this restaurant’s wooden furnishings, flowers that have climbed all the way to the ceiling, and romantic nighttime lighting. It is also one of the greatest locations to be on weekends for relaxation, listening to amazing music, or hanging out with friends to watch a football game thanks to their live band and television sets at both ends of the cafe.

They have courteous, well-groomed waiters that respond to your needs right away. Pizza, grills, seafood, burgers, spaghetti, rice, and sandwiches are all on the menu. Additionally, they provide a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, milkshakes, smoothies, beer, and wine.

Honeysuckle

The Honeysuckle is a British pub and a meeting place for families and sports lovers to enjoy food and socialise is a great atmosphere in the heart of Accra. Carrying on the tradition of British pubs in Ghana, this is the second branch of the ever-popular Honeysuckle.

Filli B’s Garden Grill

One of the nicest locations to be in East Legon is this restaurant. The property features a stunning yard with cane furniture, excellent lighting, a lounge, and a sports bar with a television. Antique wick lanterns will be on your tables if you find yourself there at night, creating the perfect ambience for a romantic date. You will fall in love with nature all over again thanks to the safari theme and the paintings on the walls. They offer a wide variety of meals, including grilled foods (such as chicken wings and pork chops), rice dishes, and regional and Mediterranean dishes.

True Nôte Restaurant and Lounge

My first experience at the restaurant was a great one. The Nôte Restaurant and Lounge is the ideal location to begin for individuals who want to travel outside of the ordinary and into the strange. The best of both Ghanaian and international food can be found at this distinctive location in East Legon. There are numerous foods available, so there is something for everyone.

The décor is modern and stylish and the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly.

The sauces are Saucy’s finest feature. The sauces are the main attraction, and they are outstanding. Each sauce has a distinct flavour and scent and is created from a number of different components. One of the numerous places that have gained popularity over the years with tourists seeking an authentic African experience is Accra, the capital city of Ghana. And there are plenty of places to go, places to sleep and affordable restaurants in Accra for your travel need.

You are either already in Accra or are currently planning a low-cost trip to Accra. You are, in fact, on the right page. I put a lot of effort into creating this guide so that you can tour the capital city without going over budget.

Coco Lounge

The attention to detail in Coco Lounge is pretty astounding, from the leather bar stools to the tilework in the private dining area. As you might anticipate coming from the same stable as design store La Maison next door, which also coordinated the restaurant’s interior, local artist Nana Anoff has installed pieces amid utterly modern and bold design accents. It’s amazing to see the pizza oven, which is decorated to look like an antique Italian pickup. Unbelievable space, but what about the food? Sandwiches, burgers, and fish and chips are included on the limited list of main dishes. Additionally, there are numerous salad options, rice bowls, and that wood-fired pizza.

The pricing is truly wonderful, though. Everything is quite reasonably priced for an experience like this; stopping over for lunch during the workweek doesn’t seem excessive at all.

Oh, and don’t forget the cakes and ice cream that you baked yourself. The attention to detail extends to the food as well; the menu, as well as that of the flagship Urban Grill, was created by famous New York chef Andrew DiCataldo. Thank goodness, our burger was served on brioche, and the quinoa salad looked appetisingly laden with dried fruit and almonds. The courteous and attentive wait personnel wore dickie bows. The drink menu is very excellent. Anyone for a Meko Martini? Ketel One vodka is combined with Ghanaian chilli. Pow!

Urban Grill

One of those establishments that exude quality throughout is Urban Grill. The menu, interior design, and ambience are all of the highest calibres. It is situated at Icon House, the same complex that houses the equally popular Coco Lounge, Vida e Caffé, and La Maison, all of which were founded by the same group as Santoku. In terms of food, service, and interior design, this set of restaurants has significantly upped the bar in Ghana. What about Urban Grill specifically? It is, at its core, a posh steakhouse. The meat is corn-fed, imported straight from Nebraska, and expertly grilled over charcoal.

This respect for regional cuisine is reflected in the new menu at Urban Grill, which has items like quinoa and rock lobster salad and “Bang Bang” octopus salad. A new standout is the main course of grilled Atlantic blackfish, which is paired with sautéed Gboma leaves (similar to kale) and regional shito sauces. Make sure to arrive a little early so you can grab a dry martini or their deconstructed Bloody Mary, which has to be experienced to be believed.

Vida e caffé

The fact that Vida e Caffè has now established four additional locations makes us incredibly thrilled. Why? The crew is polite and knowledgable, and they brew extremely great coffee (although their famous frios, with blended ice, might be preferable in this heat). The place’s incredible vitality, though, is what really draws people in. Take heed, Accra: this is how to operate a coffee shop. The original is operated by the same crew and is located in the same complex as Coco Lounge and Urban Grill. There is a delicious selection of muffins, pastries, and sandwiches.

This restaurant, affectionately referred to as “Clarisse,” is best characterised as a “fine chop bar.” Every day of the week, Clarisse is jam-packed to the gills with residents and visitors alike enjoying genuine attieke, alloco (kelewele), and tilapia. If you’re not in the mood for much risk-taking, try Clarisse’s fried yam and chicken. Clarisse has a delightful atmosphere made by soft conversation and Francophone music for such a reasonably priced restaurant, making for a wonderful dining experience. You’ll question if you’re still in Accra after you enter Clarisse or if you’ve been teleported to Abidjan!

Koffee Lounge

In theory, Koffee Lounge is a Chinese restaurant. However, like the majority of Ghanaian restaurants, it has a diverse menu that includes breakfast items, sandwiches, snacks, regional cuisines, and vegetarian choices. Best notably, Koffee Lounge’s pleasantly abundant servings of jollof rice are the reason it is on my list of the most reasonably priced eateries in Accra.

La Brasa

The restaurant La Brasa is not too old. However, its perfectly charcoal-grilled chicken wings are rapidly earning it a reputation. If you want a nutritious side dish, pair these wings with a green salad, spicy Jollof, or golden-fried yam. La Brasa is undoubtedly a good deal; in addition to having a delectable flavour, a pack of yam and chicken only costs 30 cedis (correct at time of posting).

Cafe Kwae

My search for affordable restaurants in Accra led us to the unusual and intriguing Cafe Kwae, which is one of my best places in Accra. The cafe is located in Accra’s Airport City at One Airport Square. That provides a variety of options from which to choose. include sandwiches, salads, tea, coffee, and a variety of other quick treats. The cafe is a great place to meet up with friends because it is located in the middle of Accra’s trendiest neighbourhoods. So be sure to stop by Cafe Kwae, which might be one of Accra’s best hangouts.

KFC Ghana

Memories beyond Expectations!

What do I say this place has changed and I love it from my last visit. The options on menu the quality the ambience you name it they have it. My number 1 sushi joint. Great food not just that the staff makes the food so asthetics and unique.Cheers to santoku staff. And not to forget managers who runs this place. He is Great with customers service and friendly staff. I love the new concept of take out, they keep you engaged after placing the orders for updates,. Guys do visit this place it will uplift your mood and give an umami flavor to your tastebuds. must visit place in Accra.

First time visiting Ghana. The food here didn’t make me feel I am out of Japan, very delicious and good use of fusion combinations. salmon puff is something new and unique I tried it today, it was recommended by restaurant manager Combrad. Very humble down to earth person checks on each table to ensure quality service.

The deferential staff especially dennis, mensa, and elvis. Good kitchen team displayed on top of the mark, happy to see asian chefs taking over in making idiosyncrasy food. they have great sake and whiskey selection my favorite was Hibiki and Nigori, my friend loved laison cocktail very Japanese. concisely my friends and I had a very gratifying time at the restaurant and continued at the wabi-sabi themed terrace with homemade sorbet and matcha pannacotta.

the restaurant showcases value for money and very genuine people who live here definitely come back on my next visit.Show less

There is no denying that there are many different restaurants to select from in Accra. If you’re searching for a fresh eating experience, Accra is the place to be, with everything from fine dining to eateries serving foreign cuisine. Nothing is more exciting for a foodie than discovering new eateries where they may sample different cuisines. The variety of eateries offering food from many ethnicities has increased dramatically. And one of Accra’s top restaurants, serving delectable world cuisines, is Bosphorus Restaurant.

Bosphorus Restaurant, Accra serves traditional Turkish dishes with a few cues from other world cuisines. The day begins with a substantial “Pasha” breakfast, followed by sandwiches, pittas, kebabs, and meat dishes. The restaurant itself features two stories of indoor seating as well as a sizable outdoor patio area. Alcohol is not served there, but shisha pipes are.

One of the oldest foreign restaurants in Accra, Bosphorus Restaurant has played home to a number of high-profile events. and has hosted thousands of tourists throughout the years. Visit and try some of their best Turkish dishes and thank me later in the comment section. Their indoor and outdoor premise is superb and can host up to 300 people. They also host outside catering services for all types of occasions and events. The restaurant is open until midnight (11:00 am- 11:30 pm). Kakum National Park

The World Monuments Fund has included the Larabanga Mosque on its list of the 100 Most Endangered Sites.

The Larabanga Mosque was added to the World Monuments Fund’s list of the 100 Most Endangered Sites. The mosque is believed to have been constructed in 1421 by the Muslim businessman Ayuba. Mud and sticks make up the mosque in the Sudanese design.

Of all the tourist attractions in Ghana’s Northern Region, the Mosque is one of the best.
